What was your favorite costume as a child? A punk rocker! I went as one a couple of times. I loved dressing up in crazy clothes and gaudy jewelry and having my mom go wild with the makeup. I had really long hair as well that’d we’d put up in a wacky ponytail and use insane amounts of hairspray. Sometimes we’d add glitter or gooey colour stuff too.

What is the best part of Halloween for you? Taking my two boys out trick-or-treating. They are still at the age where they are super excited and full of smiles. It’s so much fun watching them run from house to house and hear their comments on decorations and what kind of candy they got.

As an adult, do you wear a costume? Sometimes I do, if so, I’m always a witch. bwahahaha

What is your favorite Halloween activity? Carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds!

Candy apples or candy corn? Candy apples. I’ve never really cared for candy corn.

Do you carve jack-o-lanterns? Yes! We always get two pumpkins. The boys draw on the faces they want with a marker and then I cut them out. They’ll do some of the inside removal- but I usually get stuck scooping out most of the icky innards. The last few years the boys have insisted we have barfing pumpkins- boys! (You have some of the innards trailing out of the pumpkin mouth)

Best horror movie you have seen? I don’t watch a lot of horror because I’m a scaredy cat- But I’d have to say Christine (based on the Stephen King book) The Grudge is  one of the scariest too. It scared the pants off me.

Three horror characters that scared the bejezus out of you The creepy kid that scuttled all over the place in The Grudge (I had nightmares for weeks), from a movie I don’t even remember the name of- there was a giant gorilla with a white stripe down its back- again nightmares for weeks. I guess I’ll go with Freddy for that final one.

Three ideal horror locations Graveyard, dark deserted alley, dense woods (at night of course)

One superstition that you believe in … It’s bad luck to walk under a ladder. It’s also stupid :P
